Islamic Sustainable Finance and Fintech (ISFIN) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that advances interdisciplinary and contextually grounded research on how Islamic financial technologies and sustainable finance instruments are designed, adopted, governed, and contested across diverse financial systems, particularly in Muslim-majority and culturally plural societies. The journal publishes innovative and comparative studies connecting fintech innovation, Shariah-compliant financial inclusion, risk-sharing models, ESG integration, regulatory frameworks, and digital infrastructure with real-world socioeconomic transformation. ISFF positions Islamic sustainable finance and fintech as transformative yet contested forces for expanding financial access, improving economic resilience, reducing inequalities, and supporting sustainable development goals across banking institutions, microfinance entities, waqf and zakat organizations, takaful operators, and social enterprises in various socio-economic contexts.
